Aniimo Dazmand Location: Discovery Event and Evolution
Where to find Dazmand in Aniimo: the Discovery event searches and timer, Pomegg evolution with Roar Stone, stats and skills, and its Lightning team slot.
Where is Dazmand in Aniimo?
There is no fixed map pin for Dazmand. During the Aniimo Discovery: Dazmand event, from 25 September to 8 October 2026, you spend Searches to locate Dazmand anywhere across Idyll and then catch it on the spot. No weather, no time window, no Sanctum puzzle — the event search is the spawn mechanic, and the event clock is the only gate that matters.
The search budget works like this: every three days you get 3 free Searches, and 2 further Searches cost Vein Essences instead, for 5 per cycle. Game8’s Dazmand page is the reference for the structure, with Mobalytics’ Dazmand guide corroborating the event framing. If the event ends before you finish, the evolution route below is the backup — but the event is strictly easier, so start there.
[!warning] The event is the whole location Every “Dazmand coordinates” post you see during the event window is either a single search result someone else rolled or made up. Searches resolve per player, so nobody else’s pin helps you. Spend the free searches first, then decide whether the Essence ones are worth it.
What is Dazmand?
Dazmand is Aniilog No. S1G, a Nova-stage Lightning Support and the final stage of the Pomegg line. The S-series number puts it in the same special stock as Irisalis (No. S1F) — event-adjacent creatures outside the normal species run. The official index files it under item 10002 in basic form.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP | 100 |
| ATK | 108 |
| P.DEF | 81 |
| M.DEF | 90 |
| BREAK | 55 |
| REGEN | 88 |
| Total | 522 |
ATK 108 as the standout stat on a Support is the whole pitch: Dazmand buffs Lightning damage while dealing respectable damage itself, rather than being a pure buff bot. It takes 1.6x from Ice and Dark, resists Lightning, Wind and Light, and has no Flying or Tunneling state, so position it as backline support rather than a skirmisher.

How does Dazmand evolve from Pomegg?
Pomegg (No. 036) branches at level 25: one path becomes Pomawk, the other becomes Dazmand. The Dazmand branch needs three things beyond the level — completion of the Discovery event’s related quests, a Thunder Soul class material, and a Roar Stone.
Two details stay single-source and conflicted, so verify in your client. Game8 prints three Roar Stones where MetaBot prints one, and outlets disagree on whether the material gate is phrased as Thunder Soul or Night Stone. The shape (level 25 plus event quests plus stone) is confirmed across Game8, the evolution database and Dexerto’s dex entry; only the counts and names wobble. Do not buy or farm stones in bulk until your own quest log names the exact cost.
Catching 20 Dazmand through the event feeds the same system from the other side: 20 catches at Elite Potential or better award the Thunder Soul, and 20 catches guarantee a Perfect Dazmand Egg. The event and the evolution are not two separate Dazmands — they are two doors into one line, and the event door is open for a limited time.
| Requirement | Value | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| Base creature | Pomegg, level 25 | Confirmed |
| Quest gate | Discovery event related quests | Confirmed |
| Material | Thunder Soul (naming varies by outlet) | Confirmed shape, name varies |
| Stone | Roar Stone, 1 or 3 | Count conflicted |
| Event parallel | 20 catches, Elite+ for Thunder Soul; 20 for Perfect egg | Confirmed |
What do Dazmand’s trait and skills do?
The trait is Spotlight Moment: the first skill Dazmand uses within a few seconds of entering battle costs 0 EP, on a 15-second cooldown. That is a free opener every rotation — swap in, fire the buff for free, swap out.
The kit stacks Lightning team damage three ways. Thunder Sweep applies a team-wide Lightning crit-rate buff (reported +20% for 20 seconds). Electricity Shock stacks Lightning Debuff and converts past five stacks into a 5-second Paralysis. The ultimate, Lightning Storm, lands 12 hits that each add a debuff stack, which is the fastest route to the Paralysis conversion in the game. Exact durations rest on the wiki index plus Game8’s page; treat the seconds as confirmed-shape, single-source-precision.
Catch rate is reported between 25% (Dexerto) and 28% (MetaBot) at full HP before bonuses — the spread is small enough that the practical advice is identical either way: soften, debuff, and throw above half HP only if you can afford the miss.
Is Dazmand good, and what team does it fit?
Dazmand is a Lightning-team Support, ranked A-tier and roughly sixth among Support picks on the stat-weighted boards. It is not a power upgrade over Luminelle — the two share the Lightning Support niche, and which one you field depends on whether you want Dazmand’s crit buffs or Luminelle’s kit. One published rule-built party runs Dazmand with Magmarex, Gracewing and Erlath for seven-of-nine element coverage, and a Lightning-stacking line of Blazen (Break) into Luminelle (Surge) into Dazmand (Thunder Sweep) into Fulmintis (burst) is the comp the theorycrafters keep converging on.
Where it earns the slot is events and Lightning-weak bosses: free 0-EP openers plus a team crit buff compress the exact fights the current event rotation throws at you. Outside Lightning content it is a competent stat stick, nothing more — check the tier list for where that lands it overall, and the best team guide for the squad template it plugs into.
[!note] Do not confuse the two S-series chases Irisalis (No. S1F) is a 99-petal Legendary grind ending in a Rift boss; Dazmand (No. S1G) is a three-week search event ending 8 October. They launched the same week, they share the S prefix, and their farms have nothing to do with each other.
