How to Get Irisalis in Aniimo: 99 Petals, Rift and Team
How to get Irisalis in Aniimo: the 99-petal grind and all petal sources, the Vein Rift capture, stats and skills, her best team slot and transmog sets.
How do you get Irisalis in Aniimo?
Collect 99 Irisalis Petals, craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, and use it to enter her Rift in the Sea of Flowers. Beat the Irisalis: Rampage encounter and she joins you; the Rift closes behind you. That is the entire acquisition path. She has no wild spawn, no weather trigger and no evolution line — the 99 petals are the whole game.
The chain runs inside Legendary Journey: Trail of Butterfly Shadows, which started 25 September 2026 and runs to about 10 December. You need Student I rank and Chapter 2 progress before the Aniipod craft unlocks. If either gate is missing, farm petals first and the craft option appears when both are met.
Official source: Legendary Journey announcement — Irisalis debut, the Walking with Irisalis event window and the Transmog unlock tied to befriending her.
What is Irisalis?
Irisalis is Aniilog No. S1F, a Nova-stage Grass DPS and the game’s first Legendary creature. The S-series number marks her as special stock outside the normal species run — Dazmand (No. S1G) from the parallel Discovery event is her numbering neighbour. The official index also files a Prismana Form under item 10001, which is the same creature, not a second one.
| Stat | Value (official index) |
|---|---|
| HP | 90 |
| ATK | 130 |
| P.DEF | 78 |
| M.DEF | 78 |
| BREAK | 56 |
| REGEN | 108 |
| Total | 540 |
ATK 130 with REGEN 108 is the profile of a self-sustaining damage carry: she hits like a top DPS and recovers EP fast enough to keep casting. One reporting caveat: Game8’s page prints P.DEF 130 on the same stat block, which contradicts both the official index and the 540 total, so treat that cell as their typo and use 78.
Her trait is Bloom Cluster, and her kit is built around clones and Floral Gleam Beams: Whirling Blossom Rain, Irisalis Shadow and the ultimate Florae Descent. There is no evolution to plan and no form to pick before the catch — every Irisalis starts identical, and the differences players argue about come later from Potential quality and transmog.
[!note] Cannot be evolved, cannot be found Irisalis breaks both habits new players bring from the rest of the dex. She is not the end of a line like the Iris to Irisal chain her name resembles, and no map pin, weather tab or Prismana Flow will ever spawn her. Petals or nothing.
Where are the Irisalis petal locations?
Petals are a Legendary currency with many small taps rather than one farm. The eight ground pickups are the only fixed ones; everything else is a trickle you collect by playing normally plus two weekly purchases.
| Source | Petals | Limit | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ground pickups, Gathering 1: Lumenfly Valley (I, II), Tideblossom Coast (III, IV) | 4 | One-time | Single-source |
| Ground pickups, Gathering 2: Omega Tuckin (V), Omega Sherro (VI), Omega Infergon (VII), Breezy Plains Summit (VIII) | 4 | One-time | Single-source |
| Breezy Mission Letter, Legendary Journey shop, 428 Glimmer each | 2 items per letter | 5 letters per week | Confirmed |
| Alpha Aniimo first-time clears | Per Alpha | 17 Alphas | Confirmed |
| Silver Collection Badge, every area | Per badge | Per area | Confirmed |
| Aniilog tasks (Prismana catches, Ultimates, Alphas) | Per task | Ongoing | Confirmed |
| Tracing the Trail limited event | Event rewards | Ends 9 December | Single-source |
| Stamp Shop, 50 Windborn Stamps per petal | 1 per purchase | 4 per week | Single-source |
The in-game Help screen (Irisalis Petal: Gathering) shows the ground-pickup set across Breezy Plains, and Aniimo Tools’ Irisalis guide maps the eight to their regions. Video walkthroughs cover the same 8-of-8 set, but exact coordinates currently rest on that one written source plus video titles, so navigate by the in-game Help markers rather than memorising a list. Game8’s petal page is the reference for the repeatable sources — Alphas, badges, Aniilog tasks, the Stamp Shop and the limited event.
[!tip] Buy the letters every week The Breezy Mission Letter is the only petal source that converts a farmable currency directly into petals: 428 Glimmer per letter, five letters a week, each redeemable for rewards. It is not a quest with an NPC and a hand-in — it is a shop item that feeds the petal chain. Do not confuse it with the unrelated treasure item A Letter in the Argent Strait.
Petals have three other spends besides the 99 for the Aniipod: Glimmering Driftshadow at 2 petals per stone (the cheap transmog currency), the Floral Rainbow Feather at 30 petals, and Windchase Departure pods. The pods are reported at 49 petals each up to 10 (490 total, not counting toward the 99), but that figure is single-source with the in-game rules panel reportedly still showing the old 50 — verify in your client before buying.
How does the Rift capture work?
Crafting the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis opens a Vein Rift (also called the Energy Rift) in the Sea of Flowers. Inside is a single encounter: Irisalis: Rampage. Win and she is befriended on the spot — reports describe the capture as guaranteed, with Perfect Potential and a Sparkling appearance as the baseline rather than a lucky roll — and the Rift closes, so there is exactly one attempt per craft and no refarming her directly.
Build for the fight the way you would for any endgame DPS check: one Break unit to open windows, one Regen unit to fund skills, and your hardest DPS. The encounter is tuned as a capstone to the petal grind, not as a gear check beyond it — a team that cleared the Alpha circuit cleanly is ready.
What is the best Irisalis team?
Irisalis plays main DPS, graded S across Overall, DPS and Grass boards on Game8’s ranking. The published best team stacks everything that makes a Grass carry hit harder and cast longer:
| Slot | Creature | Why |
|---|---|---|
| DPS | Irisalis | Main carry, clone and beam kit |
| Regen | Leafy | Lotus Bloom damage amp on top of EP return |
| Support | Turbo | Nimbi Burst team damage buff |
| Regen | Somniwing | Butterfly Dance EP recovery keeps the rotation going |
The combination is confirmed across Game8’s Irisalis page and the dedicated Irisalis team breakdown. Two Regen units looks redundant until you run her rotation: Florae Descent and the beam skills are hungry, and downtime is what kills her damage, not enemy defence. Gracewing (EP plus healing) and Tuckin (tank) are the reported substitutes when the core four are incomplete.
For the general theory behind the four-slot split — DPS, Break, Support, Regen — and three copy-ready squads that do not need a Legendary at all, see the best team guide. Irisalis slots into any of those squads the moment she replaces the starter DPS.
What about her transmog?
Irisalis is currently the only creature in the game with transmog, which makes her wardrobe a second progression track after the catch. Four named sets — Floral Glow and Shadowthorn Phantom at Epic, Starbloom Moonlight and Sunflare Rose at Legendary — plus her default Iris in First Bloom look, all rerolled with Radiant and Glimmering Dreamshadow. Costs, lock strategy and the reported pull rates live on the transmog guide; the short version is to spend Glimmering (2 petals per stone, first three slots) before touching Radiant.
