Is the Aniimo Season 1 Part 2 update live?
Yes. Season 1 Part 2 is live. The maintenance window closed at 15:00 UTC+8 on 29 October 2026 (07:00 UTC), all three servers came back with the new build, and the game was serving players again that evening: Steam’s public concurrent-player count showed more than 46,000 in-game at 19:20 UTC+8 on 29 October, and Polaris Institute has published no maintenance-extension notice.
If your client still opens on the old build, restart it. The notice asks every Pathfinder to relaunch after maintenance, because an old client can sit on the login screen and fail to match the server version. The Glimmer ×500 compensation for accounts registered before the season version update arrives by in-game mail, so claim it on your first login.
[!note] Live since 29 October 2026 Maintenance ran 07:00–15:00 UTC+8 on 29 October 2026, which is 23:00 UTC on 28 October to 07:00 UTC on 29 October. Aniimo-Europe went down an hour earlier, at 22:00 UTC on 28 October, and came back with the other two at 07:00 UTC. Whisperwake Isles, the 51 new Aniimo, Trailblazer III and the Giga-Egg PvP queue are all in the live build.
The source for everything on this page is the official notice, Season 1: Departure with the Wind Part 2 Starts!, published on the Steam news hub on 27 October 2026 at 10:47 UTC+8. Where the notice is silent — new Aniimo stats, patch size, gacha banners — this page says so instead of guessing.
When did the maintenance start and end?
Each Aniimo server had its own published window, and the three did not go offline at the same moment. The times below are transcribed from the notice, with the Beijing and UTC equivalents added on the right.
| Server | Published window (notice) | Same window, Beijing time (UTC+8) | Same window, UTC |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aniimo-Apac | 29 Oct 2026, 07:00 – 15:00 (UTC+8) | 29 Oct, 07:00 – 15:00 | 28 Oct 23:00 – 29 Oct 07:00 |
| Aniimo-Americas | 28 Oct, 19:00 – 29 Oct, 03:00 (UTC-4) | 29 Oct, 07:00 – 15:00 | 28 Oct 23:00 – 29 Oct 07:00 |
| Aniimo-Europe | 28 Oct, 22:00 – 29 Oct, 07:00 (UTC+0) | 29 Oct, 06:00 – 15:00 | 28 Oct 22:00 – 29 Oct 07:00 |
All three windows ended at 07:00 UTC, so the servers returned together even though Europe went offline an hour earlier. If you play on Aniimo-Europe, your personal downtime was nine hours rather than eight.
Two housekeeping notes belong next to that table. The notice asks every Pathfinder to restart the game client after maintenance so the client picks up the new version. And it pays Glimmer ×500 in compensation to accounts registered before the season version update — the notice’s own wording calls that cut-off the “S2 season version update”, so the mail is tied to the patch rather than to any action you take.
Where are the Part 2 patch notes?
The 27 October notice is the content patch notes: it lists the new region, the 51 Aniimo, the growth stages, the Egg Heist changes and a 13-item “Optimizations & Adjustments” list. What is not out yet is the separate bug-fix write-up. The notice ends by saying the optimisation and fix content for this version “will be released later”, and as of 29 October no such post has appeared on the Steam news hub.
The notice also carries no version number of its own. The studio’s dev posts call this version 1.1, which is the number to use if you are searching for “Aniimo 1.1 patch notes”. Treat this page as the confirmed content list, not the final bug-fix log.
What new content does Season 1 Part 2 add?
The patch is large even by season-launch standards: a new island cluster, 51 Aniimo, a new story chapter, a raised level ceiling, a new PvP mode and a rework of the Sparkling system.
| Feature | What the notice says |
|---|---|
| New region | Whisperwake Isles, an offshore island cluster with four open areas and its own Aniimo ecology |
| New Aniimo | 51 brand-new Aniimo added to the Idyll Continent |
| Season Prismana | Jeburst, Glameep, Pouchwisp and Royalby, four season-exclusive Prismana Aniimo |
| New Prismana forms | Gachapus, Sugartini, Jabster and Whirlbite gain Prismana forms in their Whisperwake Isles habitats |
| Featured Companion | Hypnyto, a Wind DPS, obtained through the Companion Handbook |
| Season achievement | Prismana Eklue, a Dark Breaker with enemy-gathering and lifesteal |
| Co-created Aniimo | Jaguaraun, the first Pathfinder-designed Aniimo, a Lightning Breaker |
| Progression | Trailblazer II and III promotions, raising the character cap to 70 and the Aniimo cap to 70 |
| New gameplay | Operation Egg Heist’s three-team Giga-Egg PvP, Spar 4v4 duels, Holo-Battle Sim as a permanent mode |
| Home season | “Magical Wonder Night”, running until 10 December 2026 |
What is Whisperwake Isles and which regions open?
Whisperwake Isles is the new island cluster the story sails you to: Pathfinders are “guided by a wondrous song, swept into the waves” and wake up there alongside a small Aniimo called Lyrelle and a youth called Thesseo. Four areas opened with the patch.
- Crescent Bay — giant bubbles over a lake holding a single tree, the Bubbeep family drifting on the water, and Mirrorsea Village built on the cliff above. This is the settlement hub of the new cluster.
- Rosy Mirelands — wetland and woodland fed by a river, home to the Sugarfish family whose slime colours the riverbanks and irritates the other Aniimo.
- Wildwater Gorge — a rapids gorge where the Saws family rides the current and the Prawnch family trains in the white water.
- Cloudreach Falls — a waterfall spilling over a cliff top, climbed by the Jeglid family and by anything stubborn enough to swim upstream.
Unlocking is quest-gated, not paid. The notice says the region “will automatically unlock” once the prerequisite story quests are complete, and the First Visit to Whisperwake Isles event only opens after you finish the story quest A Tale of Tide and Song. If you are still early in the main story, the beginner guide covers the fastest route through the opening chapters — the new content sits behind the current finale, not beside it.
Five new narrative Journey Quests shipped with the patch: Tale of Salabask Forest, The Rumored Seventh Princess, Proof of the Rapids, Who Moved the Golden Honey and Itsy, all set around Crescent Bay and Skytear Rift. Four more — Coral Sea of Dreams, Poem of Revolution, Ode to Tranquility and Golden Treasure — are listed as releasing gradually rather than at launch. A new Journey Journal section tracks them.
Which new Aniimo should you chase first?
Four of the new creatures are named as season exclusives, and they are the ones with real scarcity. Jeburst, Glameep, Pouchwisp and Royalby are Prismana Aniimo tied to Part 2 rather than to the base map, and three of them appear on the Vein Abundance schedule below, which is the only published way to find them without a Nurture grind.
Hypnyto is the featured Companion Aniimo, and its kit is the most unusual thing in the patch: a Wind DPS that controls enemies to move along with itself and drops small-area traps that deal continuous damage. The notice says Hypnyto and its Prismana form come from the Companion Handbook, so it is a progression reward rather than a wild spawn.
Prismana Eklue is the season-achievement creature — Dark, Breaker, with enemy-gathering and lifesteal — and the Stamp Shop adds a matching accessory called Wisptis Scythe. Jaguaraun arrives later than launch, on 20 November, through the Fantasy Resonance event.
The remaining 47 Aniimo are unnamed in the notice, and no stats, elements or evolution lines are published for any of the new creatures yet. For the base-game roster, see the full Aniimo list; this page will only gain their entries once the data can be read in the live client.
What changes in Operation Egg Heist?
This is the section to read if the extraction mode is your main loop. The headline is a new competitive mode: three teams fight over one Giga-Egg, and whoever holds the twine at 100% activation — or at the final second if nobody reaches it — wins the egg. The queue is live now; its first window is 18:00 to 24:00 server time on 29 October.
| Giga-Egg PvP rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Window | Daily, 18:00 to 24:00, after the version update |
| Requirement | Character level 50 and Egg Heist rank Rising Egg Scout |
| Win condition | Hold twine on the Giga-Egg until activation reaches 100%, or be the team twined when the match ends |
| Loadout | No equipment loadout and no brought items; deployed Aniimo stats are rebalanced |
| Reward | Every member of the winning team gets 1 Giga-Egg, which guarantees an Umbral Egg and has a small Prismana Egg chance |
| Losers | Teams that accumulate activation still get an end-of-match chest with a chance at season collectibles |
The notice flags this as a test build: “this gameplay is currently in testing and will be optimized and adjusted based on actual experience.” Treat the rules above as the launch version, not the final one. The two Giga-Egg rewards worth naming are the Giga-Egg itself and the collectible chests, which drop items such as Prismatic Iris, Butterfly Dream Amber, Ironhelm Shieldguard and Songbird Serenade, plus Collector’s Edition variants.
Thirteen changes land in the existing Sanctum runs, and three of them change how you gear:
- Umbral P.DEF is down across the board, so melee Aniimo stop being a liability.
- Melee “Protective Unit” durability drains slower, which cuts the repair bill.
- The Egg Heist Shop now sells a Basic Berserker Chip that restores Pathfinder HP when you damage nearby enemies.
The rest are quality-of-life: new Nightmare and Chaos Sanctum maps, a new Alpha Umbral Bouldus with a fixed spawn room, a new mechanic enemy Umbral Bubbeep that grants continuous healing when killed, a reworked Umbral Baleetle that fully heals you on a successful break-free, lower HP on Umbral Sparki, more Prismatic Chest rewards, and an Unstuck button on the outer islands.
[!tip] The biggest change is where your eggs go Eggs you obtain inside the mode are now shown on the settlement screen and placed straight into the Inventory Warehouse — no mail claim. Mysterious Prismana Eggs, Umbral Aniimo Eggs and Ruins Aniimo Eggs obtained after the patch can also hatch Whisperwake Isles Aniimo, so saved eggs from Part 1 and new ones are no longer equivalent.
For the mode’s full rules, entry rank and gear prices, the Operation Egg Heist guide is the reference page; this section only covers what Part 2 changes.
What are the new level caps in Part 2?
Dr. Lewis contacts every Pathfinder at level 60 or above to open two new promotion assessments, and each one lifts a ceiling.
| Promotion | Effect |
|---|---|
| Trailblazer II | Aniimo level cap rises from 60 to 65 |
| Trailblazer III | Character level cap rises from 65 to 70, Aniimo level cap rises from 65 to 70 |
Three raising rules change alongside the caps, and they are the ones that will cost you materials if you are unprepared:
- Above level 60, levelling requires an Ascension that consumes an Evolution Item of the Aniimo’s main element type.
- Capability Awakening can now be reset above level 60, using a new item called Potential Reset Card.
- At level 65 an Aniimo can break through to “Stellar Tier 6” through Resonance Star Up, and both levelling and Star Up breakthroughs now add Capability Awakening counts.
Season Aniimo also gain season tags, which lets them use Dewdrop Crystal from any region for Resonance Star Up — a real saving if you have been farming region-specific crystals. Held Items can be re-contracted with Mark of the Strong, and that item no longer distinguishes regions. The Prismana Orb is loosened too: it now works on any Aniimo that has unlocked a Prismana form, not just Breezy Plains Aniimo, and a new “Prismana Orb: Whisperwake Isles” is added for the new cluster.
Which events run during Part 2?
The season event and its satellites run to 10 December 2026, with a few that open later. Dates below are the notice’s UTC+8 windows; the Europe and Americas servers shift by their own offsets. Vein Abundance is the first one on the calendar, opening at 04:00 UTC+8 on 30 October.
| Event | Window (UTC+8) | Unlock |
|---|---|---|
| S1 Departure with the Wind: Part 2 | Live now – 10 Dec 07:59 | Student I |
| Night Parade (Halloween) | Live now – 10 Dec 03:59 | Student I |
| Tidal Treasures (14-day login) | Live now – 10 Dec 03:59 | Student I |
| First Visit to Whisperwake Isles | Live now – 10 Dec 03:59 | Story quest A Tale of Tide and Song |
| Vein Abundance | 30 Oct 04:00 – 7 Dec 03:59 | Student II |
| Who’s That Aniimo? | 30 Oct – 6 Nov, 13 – 20 Nov, 27 Nov – 4 Dec | Student II |
| Idyll Ecological Investigation | 30 Oct – 6 Nov, 13 – 20 Nov, 27 Nov – 4 Dec | Student I |
| Glamour Star | 6 – 13 Nov, 20 – 27 Nov, 4 – 11 Dec | Student II |
| Prismana Photo | 12 – 16 Nov, 16 – 23 Nov, 23 – 30 Nov | Student II |
| Aniimo Go! (racing) | 12 Nov 10:00 – 10 Dec 07:59 | Level 40 |
| Fantasy Resonance (Jaguaraun) | 20 Nov 04:00 – 10 Dec 03:59 | Student I |
Vein Abundance is the one to diary, because it is where the four season Prismana are farmable: Pouchwisp in Rosy Mirelands and Tideblossom Coast on 2–9 November, Royalby in Wildwater Gorge and Sea of Flowers on 9–16 November, Jeburst in Cloudreach Falls and Russet Highlands on 16–23 November, Glameep in Crescent Bay and Echoback Landing on 23–30 November, then all four at once from 30 November to 7 December. The event keeps the Part 1 rules — three Nurture runs per weekend with +50% Prismatic Energy after picking Veinfruit — which the Prismana Flow rotation page and the Prismana guide explain in full.
What changes in the Companion Handbook and the pass?
The Companion Handbook keeps its three-tier structure and swaps its featured Aniimo to Hypnyto. The season ends at the same instant on every server: 9 December 2026, 23:59 UTC, which is 10 December 07:59 UTC+8.
| Tier | Headline rewards |
|---|---|
| Standard (free) | Hypnyto Egg ×1, Random Perfect Aniimo Egg ×1, Vein Essence, Sparkling Crystal, raising materials |
| Advanced (paid) | Prismana Hypnyto Egg with Perfect Potential ×1, Hypnyto Soul ×1, Sparkling Cube ×2, Glimmer ×680, Radiant Dreamshadow ×2, Aniimo Box +5 |
| Collector’s (top) | Aniimo Box +10, Sparkling Cube ×1, limited Avatar Frame, limited Accessory, Glimmer ×200, Primegy Battery ×5, +10 Handbook levels |
Weekly quests refresh Monday at 04:00, season quests are added to the pool over time, and past level 100 the Handbook cycles rewards up to level 1000. On the pass side, the only published change is small but welcome: Alpha Challenge now accepts double Primegy for double rewards. No new gacha banner or wish pool is named anywhere in the notice; if a Part 2 banner exists it was not announced in advance.
What changed the moment the patch went live?
The deadlines the notice created have now passed, and these are done deals rather than warnings:
- Windborn Stamps are already Credits, converted at 1:2000. A 2,000-stamp balance became 1 Credit.
- The Harvest Moon Set has left the shop. The season-exclusive furniture is only promised to “return in future season events”.
- Moonbeam Wheat, Moondew Radish Seeds and Waxing Moon Pepper Seeds are now Home Coin, and Waxing Moondew from dismantling Lunar Crops became Wonder Sugar Crystal.
- Eggs route straight to the Inventory Warehouse. Eggs obtained in Egg Heist no longer need a mail claim.
- Old eggs can hatch new Aniimo. Mysterious Prismana, Umbral and Ruins eggs obtained after the patch can produce Whisperwake Isles creatures.
- The Sparkling Sigil reissue is in the mail. Every player who rolled a duplicate Sparkling Hue before the update gets Sparkling Sigil ×2.
- The Sparkling Hue rework is live. Unlocked hues are permanent per Aniimo individual, hue swapping costs Credits, rerolls return Sparkling Sigil ×2 on a duplicate, and the new Reroll Record keeps three months of results.
What should you do first now that Part 2 is live?
- Restart the client and claim the mail. Glimmer ×500 is waiting, and the reissued Sparkling Sigil ×2 arrives the same way.
- At level 60 or above, see Dr. Lewis. Trailblazer II and III are the only route to the level 65 and 70 caps.
- Start the Whisperwake story. The First Visit to Whisperwake Isles event is gated behind A Tale of Tide and Song, so the story is the unlock, not the reward.
- Queue Giga-Egg PvP tonight if you qualify. Level 50 plus Rising Egg Scout, daily 18:00–24:00 server time.
- Hold your Nurture charges for tomorrow. Vein Abundance opens at 04:00 UTC+8 on 30 October with Pouchwisp first.
[!note] Where the official notes stop There is no separate bug-fix patch note yet, no pre-download or file size, and no statement on whether Part 1 season rewards stay purchasable. New Aniimo stats, elements and evolution lines for the 51 additions are also unpublished. Do not trust a numbers table for Whisperwake creatures until the in-game index can be read.
